The Barbados-born singer is a huge fan of the super-producer, and loves the way he brings something fresh to all the collaborations he does. Mark has worked with a string of big names including Lily Allen, Amy Winehouse, Robbie Williams and Christina Aguilera, and is famed for the way he updates stars’ sound. Rihanna is keen to team up with him as soon as possible, explaining if it wasn’t for her hectic work schedule she would have done so already.
“I would love to work with Mark Ronson, we’ve been trying to work together for a while. We’ll figure it out, we definitely will one day,” she said.
Rihanna is about to embark on a tour, which will see her travelling to the UK and Europe which she is extremely excited about. The only thing which worries her is how busy she will be, and how much she will miss her family.
The 22-year-old has two brothers, Rorrey and Rajad. She is particularly close to her youngest sibling Rajad, admitting he is the one she misses the most when she is away.
“My brothers are very cool about it all, about me being famous. They are very laid back. I miss Rajad so much – the most almost. But I shouldn’t say that, my other brother might hear,
” she laughed on UK breakfast programme GMTV.
“I start the tour in April in Europe and UK – I can’t wait. I want to bring the show! But I do love those days where I don’t have a specific time to get out of bed. I’m always up early – not at 4am or anything , I go to bed then! No, I’m up 7am or 8am most days. I stay in bed and watch TV all day, Family Guy and stuff!”
