Rihanna Leads US Billboard Charts
Rihanna’s We Found Love stays #1 for the 4th week on Billboard Hot 100. Talk That Talk’s lead single got 211,000 download sales this week. But, that’s not all!!! Rihanna made once again a new record for having three top 10 hits (We Found Love #1, Take Care #4, You Da One #9) on Digital Songs chart, making her the first woman to do so.
Drake’s Take Care ft. Rihanna debuts at #9 and You Da One at #14 on Hot 100.

Rihanna’s Talk That Talk Is ‘Edgy And Passionate’
- ‘She’s at a place right now where her voice just sounds incredible,’ vocal producer Kuk Harrell tells MTV News.
Rihanna is pretty feisty on Talk That Talk. The pop star sings quite candidly about what she likes (and doesn’t like) between the sheets on the new album, which relies heavily on dance and house influences.
During her Loud Tour, Rihanna hooked up with frequent vocal producer Kuk Harrell and found her voice for the just-released album.
“They scheduled me to go out to Europe and start recording. It’s an amazing process, working with her while she’s on the road. It’s great to see how she does a show every single night [and then records],” he told MTV News, before adding that, “Sure enough at 2, 3 o’clock in the morning, I get the call: She’s on her way.”
Making Talk That Talk was a brisk process. “We were in the studio probably like three weeks total,” he recalled. When it came to the album’s sound, Rihanna and Harrell — as well as producers like The-Dream, Bangladesh, Calvin Harris and Dr. Luke — concocted a mixture of emotions and sounds to define the record.
“At points, it’s a combination of edgy and passionate at the same time, and when you listen to the album, it’s just like Loud,” he explained. “She’s at a place right now where her voice just sounds incredible, and she’s such a great presence.”
Rihanna has certainly experimented with dance music in the past, especially on tracks like “Only Girl (In the World),” but she went deep into the genre on this album. It didn’t change the way Harrell and Ri worked together very much, the producer said.
“It doesn’t change anything for me. … The goal is always getting the best performance out of her,” he explained. “So it’s just a matter of making sure we capture the vibe of the record. If it’s up and moving, we gotta make sure her performance matches that.
“She’s definitely ready to do it, but there are times throughout the whole process I do have to — I’m not coaching her, I’m just producing how to get this performance,” he continued. “When she sings a line, if I don’t think it matches the intensity of the lyric, then I’ll go ‘Man, push a little harder.’ “
Rihanna seems to be pushing herself these days too. She just revealed on Twitter that she’s set to work on her second Talk That Talk video, for the track “You Da One.” “I can’t stop listening to #YouDaOne … So addictive!!!!” she tweeted. “Maybe because we shooting the vid soon! Workin on treatment all now….”

Starting in mid-November, a selection of key pieces from Armani Jeans and EA Underwear – inspired by and in collaboration with the Barbados-born Grammy-winning pop star – will be available in shops worldwide. And of course, on Armani.com.
If you were shopping with Rihanna, what would she pick out? This range of items gives you an idea. Any girl knows that a great look starts with a great pair of jeans, and this capsule collection features two different – but complementary styles: a classic, skinny leg jean that will take you anywhere, from morning coffee to the club, and Rihanna’s favourite cut, a “boyfriend” jean but with a slimmer leg. Both styles come in either blue or black stretched denim, to suit whichever mood.
Rihanna knows that T-shirts can be anything but basic, and the two tees in this collection have been designed not to pass unnoticed: one features a striking motif combining her initial R with the Emporio Armani eagle, and the other is looser, with an animalier background (a pattern Rihanna loves) and a profile of the singer’s instantly recognizable face.

Rihanna Launches Armani Fashion Collection
Vogue cover girl Rihanna has teamed up with Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans to create her first fashion line, comprising denim and lingerie.
Already the face of both brands, the singer’s debut offering features T-shirts bearing her R logo and Armani’s signature eagle, classic biker jackets, a canvad rucksack, jeans in two different styles and sets of lace underwear which come in navy blue and pearl grey.
The collection will be available worldwide from mid-November.

Rihanna’s ‘We Found Love’ Video Has Been Banned In France
- Rihanna’s video for her latest number one single, ‘We Found Love’, has been banned in France due to its “self-destruction” message, according to W.E.N.N.
Officials at the Supreme Audiovisual Council of France have banned the video from airing on TV before the watershed at 10pm due to its content.
The video sees the 23-year-old singer smoking cigarettes, shoplifting and being in an abusive relationship with her onscreen lover, Dudley O’Shaugnessy, which was recently called a “disgrace” by the spokesperson for The Rape Crisis Centre.
The video initially caused a stir when the shoot was shut down by DUP Alderman Alan Graham for being too “inappropriate”.

Rihanna’s Next Scent ‘Rebelle’ To Release In December
- As the holidays approach, celebrity endorsed products reach their picks. Rihanna is the latest star to join this trend with a sister fragrance for Reb’l Fleur [which is projected to bring in $80 million in sales for the year!] appropriately named ‘Rebelle’.
Rihanna chose to diversify her scent by showing one new side of her. The singer has done a survey asking women whether they are flowers or rebels and, since 68% of them defined themselves as rebels, the singer decided to develop a sassier scent for her second fragrance.
Good news don’t stop here, as you will be able to test the new scent will be released in early December at Macy’s and furthermore, Parlux Fragrances Inc. will expand distribution of the perfume to Europe and Latin America to be able to reach a wider market portion.

‘Rebelle’ Info
Rebelle is “built off the sexy back of Reb’l Fleur” and has notes of strawberry, ginger, plum, vanilla orchid, cacao absolut, coffee, and patchouli.
Despite the revealing ad campaign, shot by Anthony Mandler, Rebelle is considered the tame one.
Rebelle is priced at $59 for a 3.4-oz eau de parfum spray and $30 for the body lotion, while a special holiday pack featuring Rihanna’s latest CD and both of her scents will be available for $118.
