Talk That Talk has officially reached Gold status in the US after the album shifted 42,000 copies this week to push the total upto 512,000 copies! Congratz Rih!

• Rihanna has sold more digital tracks than any other artist.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, Rihanna has sold more than 47 million tracks to the end of 2011 putting her ahead of Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Britney Spears and Beyonce.

Black Eyed Peas are in number two spot but also hold the honor of having the biggest selling digital track to date with ‘I Gotta Feeling’.

Adele ‘21’ was last year’s biggest selling digital album.

Ultimate-Rihanna LIVE Stream Concert Audio Party

• Planet Fenty

The LOUD Tour may be over, but it doesn’t mean that the parties are! The next event is a LIVE Rihanna listening stream called ‘Planet Fenty’, in form of a concert. It it audio only and contains amazing work from Danny Farrell who has teamed up with Ultimate-Rihanna earlier.

• Danny shares some info: “Planet Fenty is basically like a made-up Rihanna concert created by me and with help of some of the Rihanna Navy. All of the songs are fully re-created using FL Studio.

“Imagine this live stream to be like Rihanna kicking off a new tour where you don’t know what it’s gonna be like, what songs are gonna be in the setlist. As the show goes on you will begin to create images and a story in your mind of a space adventure.”

The songs are re-created and remixed, a few are also mashed into medlies and will be available to download afterwards.

• 2012 Brit Awards

“Coldplay are really looking forward to performing Princess Of China with Rihanna already,” a source told the Daily Mail. It’s rumored they will perform the song at the 2012 Brit Awards, on February 21.

According to The Sun, Rihanna would love to perform with Coldplay.

“I think Chris Martin is a special guy,” Rihanna told The Sun. “His song-writing is just beautiful and I am a huge fan. If they want me to sing with Coldplay, I will be waiting for the call. I’d love to perform with them.”

• Vacation Plans

Katy Perry is being supported by Rihanna following the breakdown of her marriage. A source told The Sun newspaper: “Katy is hardly speaking to anyone right now, but she called Rihanna as soon as she heard Russell was filing for divorce.

“Katy was embarrassed about calling her parents as they’d been so against Russell in the first place, but Rihanna was a great support for her and she really helped to calm her down.”

Rihanna is now said to be planning a holiday to Mexico with Katy to help her get over Russell.

An insider told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “Rihanna has been there for Katy, texting her from Miami where she’s on holiday. Now they are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head.”

• G.O.O.D Music

Rihanna is rumored to collaborate on Kanye’s upcoming album G.O.O.D Music. The track is said to be called Compilation and was previewed at a party in London for 30 seconds.

Unfortunately, the video is copyrighted and belongs to Good Music, but according to those who listened to the song before it was deleted, it is going to be a smash hit.

Rihanna’s Steamy Armani Adverts Voted The Sexiest Of 2011

• In a year that saw pop singer Rihanna ejected from a farmer’s land for filming inappropriately sexual scenes, it must come as a relief to the Barbadian singer to discover there are still plenty of people out there who appreciate her more raunchy poses.

She may not have won over the rural folk, but the 23-year-old has captured the hearts of the ad world, who voted her sizzling adverts for Armani Underwear the sexiest of 2011.

The daring display was hailed the best of the year in a poll of advertising industry chiefs carried out by U.S. magazine Advertising Age.

The magazine rhapsodized about the We Found Love singer, saying she had never looked better.

‘It’s Rihanna at her sexiest. She’s never looked this good,’ they said, adding: ‘She’s in amazing shape and the pictures are stunning.’
