Rihanna Parties With Boyfriend Matt Kemp

Rihanna-Matt Kemp love train rolls on.

The singer and her baseball boyfriend hit Hollywood hotspot Drai’s last night to celebrate her concert at the Staples Center in dowtown L.A.

Dressed in a clownsuit polka-dot one-shoulder jumper, the Barbadian beauty didn’t arrive to the Asics-sponsored bash until 1 a.m. with Kemp joining her a few minutes later.

Throughout the night, the couple enjoyed each other’s company…

Surrounded by about 25 people stuffed into their banquet, the lovebirds whispered in each other’s ears, hugged and danced. Liplocking was kept to minimum with just a few pecks when Kemp arrived.

Not-so-secret-anymore couple Brody Jenner and Avril Lavigne were there, too. They kept a low profile by hanging out at the back of the club.

At one point, rapper Lil’ Jon took over the DJ booth for about 20 minutes to play a medley of his own songs, including “Get Low.”

Rihanna and Kemp took off at about 2:30 a.m.

Also out in Hollywood last night were Glee costars Corey Monteith and Mark Salling, who were hanging into the wee hours down the block from Drai’s at nightclub Las Palmas.

Rihanna On Being A Part Of Emotional Eminem Duet & Planning Katy Perry’s Bachelorette Party

Rihanna’s crowd at the Staples Center in Los Angeles last week erupted when Eminem surprised the audience by joining the singer on stage during her Live Nation concert tour.

The two sang their duet, “Love The Way You Lie,” about an abusive relationship.

After the show, Access Hollywood was exclusively backstage with Rihanna as she opened up about why she chose to be a part of the emotional song.

“It’s something that, you know, we’ve both experienced, you know, on different sides, different ends of the table,” Rihanna told Access of her reasons for taking part in the song.

“He pretty much just broke down the cycle of domestic violence and it’s something that people don’t have a lot of insight on,” Rihanna said of Eminem’s track.

Despite her own volatile relationship with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna did not shy away from the chance to be a part of the explosive lyrics of Eminem’s “Love The Way You Lie,” which includes the lyrics from the rapper, “I laid hands on her/I’ll never stoop so low again/I guess I don’t know my own strength” and Rihanna singing, “Just gonna stand there and watch me burn, but that’s alright because I like the way it hurts.”

“I knew if he sent me a record there must be something to it,” Rihanna explained of how she was brought on board. “It couldn’t just be, ‘Oh, Duh! She was in that relationship so we have to get her.’

“The lyrics were so deep, so beautiful and intense. It’s something that I understood, something I connected with,” Rihanna added.

In other Rihanna news, the singer revealed she has become party planner for pop star pal Katy Perry’s bachelorette party. Katy is set to marry British funnyman Russell Brand on an undisclosed date.

“It’s taking up way more time than my tour,” Rihanna laughed. “It’s so much pressure. Her wedding is probably going to be the best wedding I’ve ever been to and now I have to match the bachelorette party to that.”

Rihanna said she’s taking inspiration from Katy’s stylized look for the event.

“I could have balloons and Disney characters there and she’ll still make it wild. That’s just Katy Perry. There’s no way around that with her,” Rihanna said.

Rihanna to Make Acting Debut Aboard Battleship

Here’s hoping Rihanna doesn’t sink Battleship.

The 22-year-old pop-R&B star has signed on to make her feature-film debut in the action flick, which, as it sounds, is inspired by the classic Hasbro board game, her rep confirms to E! News.

While the songstress’ soundtrack credits on IMDb are many, she’s yet to appear as anyone but herself on TV, let alone the big screen.

But at least Rihanna’s got a seaworthy cast and crew behind her, including Friday Night Lights hunk Taylor Kitsch and True Blood hottie Alexander Skarsgård as brothers who end up leading the fight for their planet’s survival against an otherworldly force. Hancock helmer Peter Berg is attached to direct with an eye on a May 25, 2012, release date.

Rihanna Wants Sexy GaGa Collabo

Rihanna has said she wants to work with outlandish popstar Lady GaGa.

The stars are on the same record label but have yet to team up despite both being at the top of the music game.

Ri told the Daily Record: “A collaboration between Gaga and myself would be really cool because we do a similar type of music and we both really love fashion.”

“I’m sure it would be a very hot and sexy video. I would love to collaborate with her. Who wouldn’t?”

Lady G has previously dueted with Beyonce on Telephone while Rihanna has worked with Jay-Z and is currently riding high in the charts with Eminem and the song Love The Way You Lie.

Rihanna spotted at the Vanity Night Club

Rihanna was seen checking in to the HRH Tower at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. While there, she was spotted early in the week hanging at the HRH Beach Club with boyfriendMatt Kemp of the Los Angeles Dodgers , when Friday night hit, she was seen making a pre-concert appearance at Vanity Nightclubinside the Hard Rock Hotel. She arrived around 2am, stopping in on her friend’s birthday celebration and was immediately seated in a VIP stage booth. She was dancing and having a great time with her band and dancers from her show while her songs played in the club. They celebrated with a bottles of champagne. While Rihanna departed before Vanity closed, her friends stayed the rest of the night and shut down the club Las Vegas style.
