Shontelle Teases Studio Time With Rihanna

Shontelle has revealed that she has been in the recording studio with Rihanna.

In an interview with Digital Spy, the 25-year-old put rumours of a rivalry with her fellow Barbadian star to rest.

“People want to make us enemies so bad and we just laugh about it because we’re like ‘I don’t get it’,” she said. “We are two girls from Barbados who are just so excited about the fact that we come from this small island that so many people didn’t even know existed until Rihanna broke out.

Now we recently made history where we had two artists from Barbados in the top ten at the same time – and that has never happened ever in history, not even from any country outside the US.

So we’re so excited that our little island is making such great waves, you know. I mean we just love it and we’ve recently been in the studio together and we just keep laughing like ‘Wow, we’re rivals but yet we’re working together’.”

However, Shontelle remained coy when asked what the pair were working on.

“This is where I get to tease you now!” she laughed. “Yeah, recently I’ve been in the studio with Rihanna and we have some fun stuff that we’re working on and we’ll definitely be giving you guys some further details at a later date.”

She added:

“Hopefully that should relax anyone that thinks that we are some sort of rivals.”

Rihanna’s Meaning To “Rebelle Fleur” – “That’s How Her Mom Sees Her”

Rihanna chose to have the French words ‘rebelle fleur’, meaning rebel flower, inked onto her neck because “that’s how her mum sees her”, according to her favourite New York tattoo artist Bang Bang. He branded her skin with the phrase during the singer’s recent visit to the Big Apple.

The tattoo is actually incorrectly spelled and should be written “Fleur Rebelle” instead of “Rebelle Fleur”, on that many people bother. Wierd people…

Photos Update – Bang Bang Putting “Rebelle Fleur” On Rihanna

We’ve found a few unseen photos from inside the tattoo parlor where Rihanna got her latest tat. As we look closer, we see that the tattooer is Bang Bang, who has made tattoos on Rihanna before like the gun on her right side, the stars in her neck, Melissa’s birthday date on her left shoulder, the “Never a Failure, Always A Lesson”, the “shhh…” on her point finger on right hand and the script on her right hip. Rihanna herself has put ink on Bang Bang, a small umbrella with an R.

Rihanna Makes Matt Happy

Some folks have theorized that the L.A. lifestyle and girlfriend, singer Rihanna, who have impacted Kemp’s baseball career for the worse.

“My girl has nothing to do with what I do on the baseball field,” Kemp says. “If anything she helps. She makes me happy, and as stressed as I am coming home sometimes, it’s nice to have someone there who just wants to support you.”
