Rihanna says she’s Enjoying Israel Before Show

singing sensation Rihanna takes the stage in front of an Israeli audience for the first time Sunday night as part of her latest world tour. It’s the first time in the Holy Land for the 22-year-old Barbados native. The concert is part of her Last Girl on Earth tour, which began three weeks ago in Europe. Rihanna spent the two days prior to her show touring Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, holding press conferences, and meeting some of her fans. She said her time in Israel was an “amazing, amazing experience.” Metallica performed in Israel this month. Other artists including the Pixies and Elton John have shows scheduled in Israel this year.

Slash ‘Flattered’ By Rihanna’s Video Tribute

Slash was impressed with Rihanna’s decision to mimic him in her new music video, insisting the pop beauty delivered “an element of sexuality” with her cross-dressing tribute.

The singer recruited the former Guns N’ Roses star to perform a riff on her track Rockstar 101 and was desperate for him to feature in its accompanying promo clip.

When the guitarist was unable to film a cameo, Rihanna decided to depict him herself – appearing with his trademark top hat, sunglasses and mane of unruly curls.

And Slash is “flattered” by the footage, telling MTV.com, “I was supposed to actually be in that video. I played on the song, and they called me up to ask me to play in the video, but my record was just coming out, and I was sort of worn thin. She was really sweet. She sent me this pleading text to come do the video, but I couldn’t make it work. I told her that me not being in the video wasn’t going to make or break it.

“The video is way better with her being me than with me being me. All things considered, it brings an element of sexuality to it that I probably wouldn’t have been capable of. I think it’s hot, and I sent her a text this morning telling her it was definitely hotter with her doing it than with me doing it. Everything works out the way it’s supposed to.

“I’m way more flattered that she played me in the video than her asking me to be in it. All things considered, she’s pretty cool.”

Katy Perry Wants Rihanna to Strip at Bachelorette Party

Rihanna has taken on the responsibility of planning Katy Perry’s bachelorette party. But she can save money on hiring strippers because her BFF would rather see her shed her clothes.

The “California Gurl” is set to wed actor Russell Brand in India later this year, but first Rihanna will throw her a girls’ night out. “I have to come up with something cool ’cause she’s getting married in India. I’m like, ‘Now what do I do to match that for a bachelorette party?’” RiRi asked Ryan Seacrest in April.

Perry has the answer. “I hope she’s the one stripping at my bachelorette [party] ’cause she’s hot,” she confessed to AMP Radio’s McCabe.

Rihanna’s boyfriend Matt Kemp surprised her at her 22nd birthday party by hiring a porn star midget to give her a lap dance. “[Rihanna] has a lot to live up to,” added Perry. Indeed.
