He sings he’s sorry and that he believe’s that they can try again.
A rep for Brown’s label, Jive Records, however, told MTV News on Friday (August 14) that the song was actually recorded “some time ago.” yea right…

I just heard that RiRi was spotted on a Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy and 50 Cent concert in Anaheim, near L.A.

“Run This Town” Sneak Peak
Kanye West and Rihanna co-star in clip, which recalls ‘Mad Max. When it comes to his music videos.
In a 30-second preview of “Run This Town”, we see an angry, torch-wielded mob surrounding the trio in a post-apocalyptic setting that looks like a scene right out of “Mad Max.”
Anthony Mandler, who directed the video for Jay’s first single “D.O.A. (Death of Auto-Tune),” is the man behind the camera and brings his cinematic touch to the clip. The visuals are unlike anything we’ve come to expect from Jay-Zzin the past. From “Roc Boys (And the Winner Is …)” to I Just Wanna Luv U (Give It 2 Me)”, Jay has mastered being the life of the party. But “Run This Town,” with its action sequences and cast of extras is new territory for the MC. The video was shot in Queens, New York recently and pictures of Jay, Kanye and Rihanna on the set leaked onto the Internet last week, revealing the artists clad in all black.
Sources told MTV News at the time that more than 80 extras were on set at the historic Fort Totten Park, a preserved Civil War fortress. In the preview, a number of extras can be seen, also clad in black and acting unruly while bearing torches.
The video premieres Thursday on MTV – and don’t miss Jay’s performance at the VMAs on September 13!

Rihanna Working with Chase & Status on New Album
A lot of buzz has been going around about Rihanna’s upcoming album and a lot of names have been flying around in association to the effort. Most recently the bass and drum production duo Chase & Status has been confirmed as working with RiRi.
Saul Milton of the duo revealed,
“We’ve spent the past few weeks working with Rihanna and her people in an undisclosed location. The stuff she’s doing now I would definitely go out and buy myself, it’s a big change.”
He also reportedly says,
“Rihanna got in contact with us after hearing our track Saxon. She loved the feel of the drums and said she wanted a similar thing for her next record.” He spills the beans on the record saying, “It’s over 140 beats per minute but there’s also a dub step vibe on the things we’ve done with her. It’s more musical, which we’re into right now.”

Update – On Set of “Run This Town” Music Video
Jay-Z brought Kanye West and Rihanna out to the New York City borough of Queens on Thursday to shoot scenes for his video for “Run This Town,” from his forthcoming album The Blueprint 3. The powerful trio didn’t hit famous Queens ‘hoods like Queensbridge, South Side or Hollis, instead they hit the park. However, this was no picnic scene: from the looks of things, a revolution was being started! The trio shot in the historic Fort Totten Park, which is part recreational park, part preserved Civil War fortress.
Photos of the black-clad trio from the top-secret shoot have popped up on thelifefiles.com, where you see Jay — in one outfit — wearing a black hoodie and jacket with bullets draped around his neck. In another scene Rihanna dons a veil, a hoodie and a cover over her face; in another there’s glamour shot where the singer is wearing dark sunglasses, boots and shorts, standing in between Jay and ‘Ye, both of whom are wearing sunglasses.
According to a source who was on the set, Jay had about 80 extras dressed in black as well. The supporters are said to be forming a militia-type group in the video on the side of Hova, West and RiRi. Kanye’s girlfriend Amber Rose reportedly visited the set as a spectator.
Anthony Mandler directed the clip, and some of the scenery on the set reportedly included fire and overturned cars — the aftermath of some sort of scripted confrontation, no doubt.
