RUMOUR – Rihanna and Pharrell Williams Dating?

Poor Rihanna. Every time she even glances at a man recently people speculate about whether or not she’s in a romantic relationship with them. However, is there reason to believe that Rihanna and rapper Pharrell Williams could be dating?

Apparently, the two have been spending a lot of time together and recently, Pharrell was spotted coming out of the hotel that Ri-Ri was staying at. Sources say that the two have gotten pretty close and they’ve started to test out their relationship.

An insider tells the Daily Mirror,

“It’s no secret that Rihanna and Pharrell have chemistry. And not just in the studio – they seem mesmerized by each other. But Chris will be gutted to learn he could have lost Rihanna to one of the sexiest men in music.”

The source continues, “Rihanna and Pharrell talk on the phone all the time and whenever she can get a break in her schedule she’ll go and support him at a gig.”

Pharrell, the lead vocalist of N.E.R.D., has been said to be helping Rihanna in the studio for her upcoming album. Plus, they toured together on the “Glow in the Dark Tour” with Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco and Nas also on the tour. Maybe they’re “just friends”, which is probably the typical answer that we’ll be hearing from them and their reps.

Rihanna Collaborating With The All-American Rejects Frontman For Upcoming Album

Rihanna seems to be continuously adding to the list of great musical talent on her upcoming album. Most recently, it seems she has been in talk with working together with Tyson Ritter, the frontman from the band, The All-American Rejects.

Possible reason for Rihanna’s collaboration with Tyson Ritter would be that Rihanna is reportedly wanting to have a little bit of a rock flare on this newest album, yet still retain her basic R&B element. It is unclear what the real name of this new album will be, however, some have speculated that it’s been titled “Rated R.”

Big names that are said to have, or will be, working with Rihanna include, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Kanye West, Ryan Tedder, Soulja Boy, Shontelle, Pharrell Williams, Stargate, James Fauntleroy, Christopher “Tricky” Stewart and The-Dream. The album is confirmed to release late this fall.

Confirmed – Rihanna’s Album Coming Out This Fall

Rihanna is currently in the studio working on her next album.
She will be working with Kanye West, Stargate, SRP, James Fauntleroy, Tricky and The Dream, and Tyson Ritter (All American Rejects) to name a few.
The new album is slated for a Fall 2009 release.

Awards Update – 2009 Teen Choice Awards +2009 Urban Music Awards

Yesterday The Urban Music Awards celebrated it’s 7th anniversary at the Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC.
RiRi won two awards, for “Best Music Video” and “Best Female Act”.

RiRi is nominated togethter with T.I. in “Music Hook Up” for “Live Your Life” in this years Teen Choice Awards.

Rihanna — who Anna Wintour is rumored to have passed on — is said to have an upcoming VI editorial by Steven Klein. And as for August 2009 Vogue Paris, which was previously reported to focus entirely on Daria Werbowy, it seems that she’s not exclusive: other models appear in the entirely Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin-lensed issue.

Drake Talks To ABC About Rihanna Rumors

Drake recently sat down with ABC News to dish a little bit on his relationship to Rihanna. It’s been speculated that he and Rihanna were seen kissing at a club and that the two have been dating. However, he claims that these rumors are not true. Rather, he’s spent some time with her and of course they’re just friends. He also said that the two have been working together and that he’s doing a little something for her upcoming album.

Earlier in June, Drake had revealed that he is working on her album. He said of the project,

“I’m actually writing for Rihanna right now. I guess I’m living a dream. I enjoy a challenge. I’ve never in my mind felt like, ‘Oh, I could probably write something crazy for Rihanna.’ That wasn’t my first thought. But being put up to the task, we’re coming up with some special stuff. It’s crazy, man. All I could do is smile. It’s nice.”

In the interview he says: “I’ve never been dating Rihanna.” They start talking bout it at 3:28.

Information About Next Rihanna Album

Rihanna made a further statement about her music and the “Good Girl Gone Bad” album which is now behind her.

“I do not intend to give up anything, said the singer. Good Girl Gone Bad did that time in my life. It represented who I was. My next album will be a notch above. I want to continue to grow … I am not stuck. I want to change. “

First, it is important to know that no name has been determined at this time, therefore forget the rumor of the “Dark Angels”, the “Karma”, the “Good Girl Gone Bad” and all that follows. Rihanna has chosen the name of her new album for several weeks but want to keep secret until the last moment to avoid any leaks.

Many artists are working on this album that will certainly be a great board that will get Rihanna a succeful comeback worldwide. Among the army of employees, include for example the famous leader of the band OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder, who composed two songs for Rihanna, which he played entirely on a piano, Kanye West, the obvious Justin Timberlake, Soulja Boy, the beautiful Shontelle, Jay-Z, the talented Pharell Williams and many others … At this stage, we will no longer speak of “planetary tubes”, but songs that should “mark the minds forever,” to cite DEF Jam. Words certainly exaggerated but at least the die is cast.

Rihanna never was as much a perfectionist and selective in the choice of songs and their interpretation. Also, it participates actively in the writing of words and the selection of instrumental moods. The album is more rock than the previous one and a bit more pop, while keeping many songs tones and rhythms of RnB, where the singer excels.

It is clear that Rihanna wants to be recognized as being now a mature woman who requires both its own musical style and its own originality. Rihanna loves her image trendsetter and wants now to exploit it to its songs. So this is a true melting pot of musical styles that appear on the new album, which will mark a remarkable 180° turn for Rihanna and the fans, who should not be disappointed with the result.

Namely, several duos should appear on the album. By “several” means two or three. At the moment none have been recorded with the exception of those with singer Chris Brown who have been canceled and will not appear on the album. Needless to say why, as everyone knows (at least, hopefully).

In short, this album promises to be Rihanna’s best album and certainly the best in the league of artists produced by Def Jam.
