Katy Perry Talks About Rihanna
Katy Perry joins Roger, Darilyn and Marilyn live in Barbados 2009 and talks about her busy life and touring and her hanging out with Rihanna in the island.
“Rihanna is in town, this is her… home. And she had been telling me about here for a while and it’s just so happy that, you know, I decided to be a part of the event and I’m so excited and yeah, it’s nice to see beyond the… I guess tourist, all the places, alltough it’s all beautiful. But it’s nice to, like, I went to a really nice restaurant last night.”
”I just met Rihanna backstage at one of those, those , like Christmas shows. Yeah, cuz everyvody is backstage and we’re all you know hanging out. And um, we just became friends. We both I think like to play dressup. We both love clothes, she always wants to take my stuff and I’m like ‘get off, get your own, get your own stuff’ (laughing)”.

Producer – ”Rihanna Is Confident and Strong”
The singer – whose smash hits include “Umbrella,” “Take a Bow” and “Rehab” – has been writing songs about “different situations in her life, just things that inspire her,” according to one of her producers.
“She’s ready, ready to make hits,” producer Brian Kennedy Seals told PEOPLE Wednesday at the ASCAP Pop Awards in Hollywood, adding that they’ve already worked on three songs, including an up-tempo number and a ballad.
As for the lyrics, “We’re not there yet,” says One Republic’s Ryan Tedder, who is also working with Rihanna, 21, as a writer and producer. “She’s someone … who has something to say, so I will let her lead whatever she wants to say.”
As for how Rihanna is doing these days, Tedder says, “She’s phenomenal. She’s confident and strong and doing what she does.”

Rihanna Enjoys Katy Perry Concert

Rihanna has been spending time this week relaxing in her native Barbados.
She’s been hanging out with pal and fellow pop star Katy Perry, who was in town on a concert tour. Rihanna was at Perry’s concert Thursday night enjoying one of her many songs.
The two singers have become very close friends and have been hanging out recently at L.A. nightclubs as well as having dinner together.

First Public Reunion With Brown On The List?
Andre Merritt, a songwriter who has worked with both chart-topping artists is reportedly being honored at a special post show party and Rihanna (as of Tuesday) was confirmed to be attending along with ‘Stomp the Yard’ star Columbus Short.
The only thing is, Brown, who has not been seen with Rihanna in public since early February, is also on the guest list but not “confirmed”.
If the “former” couple attends the event it will be the first time they would be under the same roof at a major event since their alleged altercation Feb. 8.
In related news, Rihanna is rumored to be eying a late fall 2009 tour and is considering a few of this year’s chart-topping R&B divas for the jaunt.

Mike Tyson on Chris Brown: “He’s Just a Baby”
Tyson, who was accused of assaulting Robin Givens and convicted of raping Desiree Washington, explains, “It’s none of my business, but you know what I say about that? I understand the situation. I understand passion with young kids.”
The 42-year-old adds,
“My personal opinion about that is, he’s just a baby. He’s just a little baby that don’t know how to handle his emotions when it comes to a woman. And he probably hears this and thinks, ‘I know how to handle my emotions’; we all think we do.”
“But the fact [is] you look at this person and you might be crazy in love, but we don’t know how to handle those feelings.”

Rihanna Plans North American Tour In September
Is Rihanna planning a North American tour?
A source insists that the “Disturbia” songstress hopes to kick things off in September. Details of exactly where and when are still being worked on, but our source says that Rihanna may not be alone when she hits the road…
Ciara and Keyshia Cole are in negotiations to join the tour, according to the source. “Rihanna wants strong women to join her,” the source says. “This is a ‘women empowerment’ type of tour.”
Just last week, E! News confirmed the star will make her first solo stage appearance since her altercation with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, next month in Dubai.
Shortly after the Grammy Eve incident, Rihanna canceled a Feb. 13 concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her last concert was Jan. 29 in L.A.
Rihanna’s rep did not immediately comment, nor did Ciara’s. Coles’ rep insists she’s not in talks to join Rihanna because she is busy working on several other projects, including her own headlining tour.

Chrianna Back Together?
Chicago Sun-Times newspaper claims that the Barbadian singer is taking Chris Brown back. Though so, the reunited lovers won’t go public anytime soon.
“They have spent quite a few nights together,” a longtime friend of Rihanna’s family claims. “Unfortunately, Rihanna still wants him and has said to us all, ‘Get over yourselves. I’m with him, so deal with it.’ She has told us she won’t be going public with the relationship for a while.”
